How OneClickClaw Works

Last updated: March 2026

The big picture

OneClickClaw is a managed hosting layer that sits between you and the complexity of running an AI agent on a server. Instead of renting a VPS, installing software, configuring security, and keeping everything updated yourself, you let OneClickClaw handle all of that while you focus on building the AI experience you want.

Under the hood, every OneClickClaw deployment runs on a dedicated virtual private server (VPS) in the EU (Denmark), powered by AMD EPYC processors with DDR5 RAM and NVMe SSDs. The server runs OpenClaw, an open-source AI assistant gateway that connects your chosen AI model to messaging platforms like Telegram and Discord. You control everything through a web dashboard. No terminal, no command line, no SSH.

The simplest way to understand OneClickClaw is this: you sign up, pick a plan, we create a server, install the agent software, and connect your messaging channels. Your agent is live and responding within minutes.

Note

You never need SSH access or terminal commands. Every single configuration option (AI provider, model, system prompt, channels, billing) is available through your web dashboard.

The full flow, step by step

Here is the complete lifecycle of a OneClickClaw deployment, from sign-up to a working AI agent:

OneClickClaw — Deployment Flow

1. Sign Up

Google OAuth

2. Choose Plan

Starter / Hobbyist / Pro

3. Checkout

Stripe payment

4. Server Created

~5 minutes

5. Onboarding

API key + channels

6. Agent Live

Responding!

1

Sign up and choose a plan

Create an account using Google Sign-In, then select the tier that fits your needs (Starter, Hobbyist, or Pro). Each tier runs on progressively more powerful hardware. See Choosing a Plan for a detailed comparison.

2

Complete payment

Pay securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Once your payment is confirmed, provisioning starts automatically. There is nothing else to click or configure.

3

Server provisioning (~5 minutes)

OneClickClaw creates a dedicated VPS for you, installs Ubuntu, hardens security (firewall, SSH keys, automatic security updates), installs OpenClaw, sets up Nginx with SSL certificates, and enables 24/7 health monitoring. You watch the progress in real time from your browser.

4

Configure your agent (Onboarding Wizard)

The Onboarding Wizard walks you through entering your AI provider API key, selecting a model, and connecting your first messaging channel (Telegram or Discord). Your agent is live and responding to messages within minutes.

5

Manage from your dashboard

After deployment, you control everything through your web dashboard: change AI models, update system prompts, add or remove channels, view real-time metrics (CPU, RAM, uptime), and manage billing. No terminal or SSH access is ever needed.

The managed model

OneClickClaw follows a clear division of responsibility. We handle the infrastructure and technical operations. You handle the creative and business side of your AI agent.

We Handle (Infrastructure)You Handle (Content & Config)
Server provisioning and setupProviding your AI provider API key
Operating system hardeningChoosing which AI model to use
OpenClaw installation and updatesWriting your agent's system prompt
Firewall and SSH securityConnecting messaging channels
SSL certificates (HTTPS)Managing your subscription
24/7 health monitoringMonitoring your AI provider costs
Incident detection and responseCustomizing agent behavior
Automated software updates

This model means you get the reliability and security of a professionally managed server without needing any Linux or DevOps knowledge. If something breaks on the infrastructure side, we detect it and fix it. If you want to change how your agent behaves, you do it yourself from the dashboard in seconds.

Tip

Think of OneClickClaw as the "managed WordPress hosting" equivalent for AI agents. Just as managed WordPress hosts handle the server so you can focus on content, we handle the infrastructure so you can focus on your agent's personality, knowledge, and the experience you deliver to your users.

Everything from your dashboard

Unlike traditional VPS hosting, OneClickClaw does not provide or require SSH access to your server. Every configuration option is available through the web dashboard:

  • AI provider and model settings — Switch providers, change models, update API keys.
  • System prompt editor — Define your agent's personality, tone, knowledge boundaries, and behavior rules.
  • Channel management — Connect, disconnect, and configure Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord channels.
  • Real-time metrics — CPU usage, memory consumption, storage, and uptime charts.
  • Event Viewer — A live log of everything happening on your server: agent starts, channel connections, errors.
  • Billing management — View invoices, change plans, update payment methods.

Note

If you are coming from a DIY setup where you managed your own VPS via SSH, the dashboard covers 100% of what you need. There is no "escape hatch" to a terminal because there does not need to be. Every setting is accessible from your browser.
